With over 15 years of experience helping big and small brands (e.g., AT&T Wireless, GM, Pfizer, Tiffany & Co., Coors, Second Wind, etc.) acquire and deepen customer relationships using integrated digital/offline channels (see my CV) I added mobile marketing to the mix – and I’m passionate about it
I’ve been running a consultancy for the last couple years with a partner in NYC and we started working with mobile technology entrepreneurs in Boston and Cambridge to bring their products to market.
That necessitated a lot of research to understand the complex mobile ecosystem and listen to how consumers use mobile technology. I got a glimpse of how mobile solutions are transforming not just consumer experiences, but human experiences. (see more about the Big Picture)
The possibilities are tremendous. Business practices and customer relationships can be transformed when bringing mobile into the mix.
Companies are beginning to master the new social media paradigm – transparency, engaging with customers not shouting at them, providing content that adds value and doesn’t just chest-thump brand priorities – and engaging via mobile is the next frontier.
